As esmé products use distinct and/or handmade textiles and natural leathers, pattern and leather variations from website images are natural and to be expected. The chosen textile will be as you select, however you may receive a different piece of the textile segment. Liners may also vary to those pictured. These variations are what we think make esmé products so unique and often, one of a kind.

CUSTOM ORDERS ON SOLD OUT ITEMS
esmé products are made in Lebanon, handcrafted and use limited edition textiles. We make each style in small runs and some designs are one-offs (we will clearly note this in the product description of our e-shop). As our products are not mass produced, we sometimes make the designs available for custom orders at an increased price should a product sell out.
If you would like to custom order a bag, please send us an email at any time on firstname.lastname@example.org with the full details of the product you would like to order. Please note we cannot guarantee you a custom ordered bag – this depends on textile and leather availability but we will respond to you within two business days confirming.
The expected creation period will take up to three weeks excluding delivery times which are indicated below.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
All esmé handbags are beautifully packaged in an esmé tote bag. The Essential Collection and other small products are beautifully wrapped. Other than custom-ordered items, all orders are packed and dispatched within three business days except weekends and public holidays (in Lebanon and Australia).
On completing your order, you will receive a confirmation email from Shopify confirming your order. You will also receive a further email containing your shipping and tracking information.
International mail does not deliver to PO boxes or hotels. For these reasons, we ask that you please provide a private address where someone can sign for the order.

RETURNS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
We want happy and satisfied customers. However, while esmé is still a small team in its infancy, sales are final. We will revisit this policy as we grow with the aim of introducing exchanges and refunds one day. At this stage, we unfortunately cannot offer refunds or exchanges for changes of mind. For this reason, we encourage you to send us as many emails as you would like with any questions about the products before purchasing.
This policy does not apply if you identify anything to be damaged or faulty on delivery. If this happens, please email email@example.com within 72 hours of receiving your product and we will provide instructions on returning or exchanging the product.
If an item you have purchased has sold out, esmé will contact you via email to offer an exchange / refund if an order has gone through.
All international customers are responsible for customs and duties payable within their country. This is not included in the purchase price. For further information, we recommend contacting your local customs office.
